Excellent service! When my garage door failed, I found Precision on the internet and called about noon to see if they serviced my area (Fayette County). They informed me that they did and would have a technician contact me. The technician called and set up an appointment that afternoon. They arrived on time and replaced my old garage door opener with a new LiftMaster. The two technicians were very efficient and friendly. It was a very good experience, and I would recommend Precision to anyone needing their services.

I called Precision first thing in the morning to see if I could get someone out to evaluate the noise our door was making. They were very responsive and had someone come out before lunch. Our technician was Frank Perez. He was very polite and helpful and not at all pushy about what needed to be done. Precision Door will be my go-to for garage door issues! Frank came to bring me remotes, recode my garage door, and set up my car and my MyQ app. He also repaired the loose opener in the garage, and because I had just moved to College Station, he did a free inspection of my system as well. He was courteous, pleasant, and called to let me know he could come earlier if I were available. I loved that Precision could give me same day service, and I will continue to use them! I was disappointed with my experience with Precision Door. Before the technician arrived, I was very clear about the situation. A snake had become tangled in the garage door cable, causing it to come off. The door had been functioning properly prior to that and had recently passed a home inspection. I specifically stated that I was looking for a repair and did not want to be sold unnecessary parts or upgrades. Instead, I paid nearly $200 only to sit through what felt like an extended sales presentation for additional parts and repairs. Despite my repeated explanation of the issue, I never felt the focus was on fixing the actual problem. When I declined the recommended work, no repair was completed. I ultimately hired another company that fixed the issue, and the repair cost less than the service call and upselling session I received here. What bothered me most was not that additional recommendations were offered, but that I had clearly communicated my expectations upfront. Had the technician simply explained the repair options and addressed the problem I called about, I likely would have felt very differently. Instead, it felt like a waste of both my time and money.

The cables came off our garage door for the 6th time in the last 24 months. We used another company to fix it but the issue kept happening. Luckily, I called Precision and they identified the issue quickly and fixed it for the long haul. Great experience.

Extremely disappointed with Percision Garage Door and technician Frank Perez. He provided an estimate of nearly $4,000 to replace my entire garage door for what turned out to be minor cosmetic damage. Frank claimed that the original manufacturer was out of business and that replacement panels were unavailable. He also stated that the garage door motor was burned out and needed replacement. Estimate given for motor and complete door replacement given. Fortunately, I decided to get a second opinion. I contacted the door manufacturer directly and learned that the company is still in business. They sent a technician who inspected the door, repaired two broken brackets, ordered a new sensor board for the motor, and restored the entire system to working condition for just $208. As a single female homeowner, I feel that I was taken advantage of and pressured into an unnecessary and extremely expensive repair. The difference between a $4,000 estimate and a $208 repair is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. If option to give zero stars that's rating I would give this company.

I chose your business strictly on the reviews I read. I am very glad I did. From the time the phone was answered through setting the appointment everything was professional and seamless. Logan texted when he was on his way and sent a bio and picture of himself so that we would know it was him when he arrived. Logan was very thorough on his complete inspection. We did have to have a new opener because the mother board on the original had worn out. The opener we chose was based on the descriptions of the three available. I was expecting to have to have another appointment for the installation but that wasn't the case as Logan had what we chose on his truck. The installation went well and the training on using it was great. Thank you for your professional staff and technicians.

I've used another garage door repair company in town - they were ok, but I wasn't motivated to use them again for this repair. I Googled and saw Precision. I had used Precision back when I was in Austin (another franchise) and was happy with their work, so to learn they were now here in Bryan, I opted to give them a try again. I'm so happy that I did. Response was timely and handled well - from the scheduling phone call to the actual service by Logan. I appreciated the constant communication about my appointment, the kindness and thoughtfulness that Logan demonstrated throughout the process. Of course he provided up-sell options, but there was never any pushy behavior to get me to take on a more expensive sale - I just needed my door to work again, and Logan was happy to provide that service. It was done well, and in the end we are happier now than before our door failed. Turns out the spring failed – and it seems the prior company likely installed a weak spring. Our garage door used to rattle and shake, creating a lot of noise, it was terrible. With our new Precision spring, it's like butter! The door runs quietly (as quiet as a garage door can), it's smooth, the house doesn't rattle and shake - while it was just a repair, it feels like we got an upgrade! We got the repair we needed, nothing that we didn't need, and the end result is something better than we had before. Very happy with our service, and so glad to have a Precision Garage Door Service in our area now.
